David has been working as a photographer, photographic re-toucher and graphic designer in advertising, marketing and publishing for over 25 years.
Studying photography and graphic design at the Solent University, David has worked for local and national newspapers, for London and advertising agencies and as part of the marketing team for some of the largest global companies.
With a passion for history and with a keen eye and interest in architecture, David has combined his professional experience and personal interests by starting StripyInk in 2016 to offer photographic services to architects, developers, interior designers and private clients.

“StripyInk Design has provided an excellent service, working closely with us on all our graphics (on and offline), often on tight deadlines. They have also been very patient, good at suggesting cost savings and interpreting ‘squiggles’ and all their work has been accepted – unquestioned – by our various printers and provided great results.
They produced some stunning sports shots for both of the events we hold annually: Lyme Splash Sea Swim – Lyme Regis to Charmouth and The Lyme Splash Water Polo Sea Championships held in Lyme Regis Harbour. The conditions are not easy but this did not deter David, or dampen his enthusiasm in the slightest – we just point him in the right direction and he gets on with it! We use these images for our website Lyme-Splash.com and for the press.
We’ve used StripyInk Design for 3 years now and will continue to work with them, and recommended them highly.”

“When it comes to marketing for a church there are so many pitfalls to overcome. Not only did David understand our brief, but his conceptualisation and delivery went far beyond our expectations. His design work is stunningly contemporary but also embedded into the culture of our church and the surrounding community and landscape. All of this combined to create work that reflects and communicates our vision and commitment to bringing real change to lives of the people around us.”
